2013 Spring Calendar for meetings and field trips
Further details of all 2013 field trips will be posted to the State
College Bird Club listserv group.
Unless otherwise noted, all regular meetings will
be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Meeting Room in the Community Building in
the Foxdale
Village Retirement Community.
Details of local field trips will be announced on the scbirdcl e-mail list.

Program: Our guest speaker will be Greg Grove who will give a program
called "Winter Raptor Surveys in Pennsylvania".

Program: Our guest speaker will be Dr. Paul Bartell, Assistant
Professor of Avian Biology
who will give a program titled "Biological Clocks and Bird
Migration".

Meet: At the Milesburg McDonalds at 8:00 am.

Arboretum Bird Walks: bird walks in

Arboretum at Penn State. Start at
8:00 AM and end at
9:30 AM.
Meet at the
Arboretum Pavilion parking area (off Park Avenue across from Law
School).

Bald Eagle Valley: Search for early migrants.
Meet: Scotia Pond parking area and depart at 8:00 am. Arrive earlier to bird the Scotia Pond area.
Carpool from there if needed. Stops include: Julian Wetlands, Yeager Hollow Pond,
Unionville, Curtin Wetlands, and Bald Eagle State Park. You are free to leave whenever you wish..
