2012 Spring Calendar for meetings and field trips

Further details of all 2012 field trips will be posted to the State College Bird Club listserv group.

Unless otherwise noted, all regular meetings will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Meeting Room in the Community Building in the Foxdale Village Retirement Community.

Details of local field trips will be announced on the scbirdcl e-mail list.

On February 22, 2012 the State College Bird Club will have a 70th Anniversary Dinner at 5:30 pm, in the Foxdale Village auditorium. Details were posted to the scbirdcl e-mail list (otherwise, please contact the President of the Bird Club).

Program: Our guest speaker will be Nick Bolgiano who will give a program
called "Birds that I have seen in the West"

February 22, 2012 (Wednesday)
Regular Meeting (following the dinner celebrating the 70th year of the State College Bird Club - see note above)

Program: Our guest speaker will be Larry Ramsey who will give a program on
his trip to Papua New Guinea.

Program: Our guest speaker will be Don Bryant - who will give a program on
his trip to Australia and South Africa.

Penn State and he will give a program on his graduate research.

Bird walk in the winter woods. Start at about 8:00. More details later.
