2007 Fall Calendar for meetings and field trips

Details of all 2007 field trips are currently tentative and will be revised in the next few weeks.

Unless otherwise noted, all regular meetings will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Meeting Room in the Community Building in the Foxdale Village Retirement Community.

Local field trips will be announced on the scbirdcl e-mail list.

September 3, 2007 (Monday)
Labor Day Fall picnic
3:00 p.m. Shaver's Creek Environmental Center
This is a pot luck requiring the following food and drink contributions: Main courses, Desserts, Drinks, Appetizers, and Side dishes. RSVP to Roana Fuller for attendees and food items. Thanks to the Shaver's Creek staff for hosting the picnic. They will provide the eating utensils: plates, silverware, cups etc.

September 9, 2007 (Sunday)
** Field Trip:
Informal trip to Bald Eagle State Park and Julian wetlands. Meet at Westerly parkway at 7:00 or at McDonalds at the Milesburg exit off I-80 at 7:30. Watch scbirdcl e-mail list for further details.

Program: Our guest speaker will be PGC biologist Jamie Zambo who will give a program entitled "Barn Owls in South-Central Pennsylvania" (related information).
