Birding Information for the State College Area

Current information
about wild birds in the State College area (the area within 25 miles of Old Main at University Park) including raptor, warbler, and water fowl migration, can be found in the listserv group scbirdclthat is associated with the State College Bird Club. Based on postings from 2010-2014, you can expect to receive an average of 5 posts per day when joined to the list. Some of the postings will have information about activities of the Bird Club. Most of the postings are from members of the list who report on specific sightings. Unlike the PABIRDS list below, this list permits the inclusion of attachments like photographs. However, we suggest that the size be kept to a minimum. Some Mail programs like Apple Mail make this easy by allowing size tabs like Small or Medium that automatically reduce the size of the photo.
