The State College Bird Club is a diverse group of about 100 local
citizens dedicated to the appreciation and conservation of wild
birds in Central Pennsylvania. The Bird Club attracts members from
all parts of our community that include university employees,
school children, retirees, college students, employees of local
industries, and others, all bound by the common thread of our
fascination with wild birds and the natural world. In a town where
the local community often lives in the shadow of a major
university, the State College Bird Club enjoys a mutually
beneficial relationship with Penn State.
